I have seen the material in print form and in action with children. It is innovative, motivating, colourful, and full of variety. I know of no other material in the field which compares with it. It breaks through traditional curriculum boundaries and uses English as a tool for children to understand the world around them. It contains countless opportunities for contextualised language acquisition. It appeals to both the cognitive and the affective sides of learning and engages learners´ creativity. It also challenges them to think. The teachers' notes, in the form of lesson plans, are explicit and supportive. Systemic would be an asset in any English language course for young learners and I am pleased to have this opportunity to recommend it very highly.
